Coordinated by Mary Lu Kot, the GraFFiti ministry
offers spiritual, social and service events
focused on inviting the youth of the Parish
to live a more active faith-life. High school
and college-aged students are invited to meet
with this group alternatingThursdays in the
School at 7 p.m.
Youth Group members created their name GraFFiti
because they felt they were much like the art
of GraFFiti as they are truly forms of art created
in God's likeness and they have great value.
These teens help with parish activities like
the Ministry Fair and the Annual Easter Egg
Hunt, and they presented the Shadow Stations
of the Cross for Good Friday. Recently they
participated in World Vision's 30 Hour Famine
Lock-in at the Parish Hall to learn about hungry
and raised funds for the hungry.
Eighth grade students are invited to attend
the summer activities which have included trips
to Great America, Deep River Water Park, and
New Buffalo Beach.
