Aldo Sulli is President of the Sports Committee,
which helps support the many athletic teams
representing St. Ann School. Students are involved
in Boys and Girls Basketball Teams (4th - 8th
grade students) Girls Cheerleading for Basketball
and Football (5th - 8th grade students), Girls
Pom Poms 1st - 4th grade students), Girls Volleyball
(4th - 8th grade students), Boys Football -
Widgets (3rd - 6th grade students), Boys Football-Varsity
(7th and 8th Grade Students) and Soccer -Both
Boys and Girls (1st - 8th grade students). Soccer
has a Fall League, Aug-Oct and a Spring League,
March-June.
The Sports Committee is comprised of an executive
board (president, vice-president, treasurer,
secretary) and heads of each respective sport.
They meet on the last Thursday of the month
in the teachers' lounge at 6:30 p.m. All are
welcome to attend these meetings. Each coordinator
gives a report on their sport, and there is
a discussion of any issues or problems related
to that sport. The Sports Committee enforces
the rule of the Parish and the sports program,
and makes amendments through a vote when necessary.
Members of the Sports Committee volunteer their
time so that the children of St. Ann Parish
can have the opportunity to participate in sport
related activities.
