Boy Scouts of America is a values-based, youth
development organization. Scouting builds character,
trains youth in the responsibilities of participating
citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
Boy Scouts helps shape future leaders by combining
educational activities and life-long values
with adventure and fun. Boy Scouts from Troop
271, Troop 276 and Cub Scouts from Pack 247
and Pack 2861 and are represented at St. Ann
Parish.
Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts earn merit badges
and other achievement awards by serving others
and learning life-long skills such as how to
camp, cook, and lead others. Several boy scouts
have earned Scouting's highest rank of Eagle
by planning, supervising and executing projects
for St. Ann parish.
